I am a designer who makes sustainable and eco-friendly work with natural fibers and dyes. I aim to make garments that one can wear and take with themselves wherever they go. My designs call out damaging practices within the industry by reimplementing natural dying and cutting back on the use of synthetic materials. My work is a form of expression as it lets me speak through my hands by bringing back craft and the acknowledgement of hand work into the fashion industry. My work is a way for me to discover and explore my own identity, constantly asking the question of whether I am Mexican, American, both or neither.
